Team Building

Our goal is to empower teams to create strong relationships, focusing on teamwork and the holistic development of players.

Coaches, parents, and players are invited to apply for up to a $500 team award, designed to recognize and support teams committed to fostering a positive team culture. This award will be given to teams that demonstrate dedication to player development, team spirit, and competitiveness in their sport....and have fun!

Any youth sports team is eligible to submit (for example, school, rec, AAU). All teams can submit an application. 

 

Applications should include examples of how the team is currently promoting a positive culture for all players and an idea for how the grant would be utilized to enhance their team.

The team awards can be used for a variety of initiatives, including:

• Team-building activities, such as leadership workshops or bonding retreats

• Assisting players, such as those with single parent families, in need of rides, equipment, or other expenses 

• Community engagement projects, such as outreach events or service activities

• Equipment or uniforms that reinforce team identity and spirit

• Player development programs, like extra training sessions or skills clinics

• Tournament fees or travel expenses, helping the team compete at a higher level

This team award is a great opportunity for teams to invest in their growth while strengthening the values that make them great.
